Why KidsMed?
Whether you're visiting for a once-off consultation or looking to build a long-term relationship, we’re here to support your child’s health journey with care and compassion.
At KidsMed, our mission is to provide high-quality, comprehensive healthcare for infants and children. We are dedicated to delivering current, evidence-based diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventative care — and when necessary, we ensure seamless referrals to trusted sub-specialists.
Our services range from general check-ups and developmental assessments to the diagnosis and management of complex paediatric conditions. We also operate a fully equipped immunisation clinic.
As holistic practitioners, we believe in thoughtful care — not unnecessary tests or treatments. Our approach is guided by proven medical protocols, ensuring your child receives only what is truly needed. Our team includes a permanent nursing sister on-site, and our practice manager is a qualified paediatric nursing sister, providing an extra layer of expertise and reassurance.
We are proud to host several distinguished specialists in our practice:
- Prof. Grieve, Paediatric Surgeon
- Prof. Scher, Paediatric Neurologist (available occasionally)
Appointments with any of these sub-specialists can be arranged directly through our rooms.
We aim to offer same-day emergency access for every child — even if that means extending our hours into the evening. To accommodate this, routine developmental and general medical check-ups are carefully scheduled in advance, and we recommend booking these appointments early.
While we strive to run on time, the nature of paediatric care means unexpected delays can occur. Our friendly front desk team works hard to keep the schedule running smoothly, and we encourage you to call ahead on the day of your appointment to confirm the timing.
Your child’s wellbeing is our priority, and we look forward to being part of their care.
In addition, Morningside Clinic offers a 24-hour Emergency Room service. The emergency doctors have constant access to the paediatrician on call should there be an emergency during the night.
